  28.  the US dollar has a very low transfer rate.

  31.  Copyrights and Licence Agreement

  33.  - Users of the FileDoor-package must accept this disclaimer of warranty:

  35.  - The FileDoor-package is supplied as is.  The author disclaims all
  36.    warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation,
  37.    the warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose.
  38.    The author assumes no liability for damages, direct or consequential,
  39.    which may result from the use of the FileDoor-package;
  40.  
  41.  - The FileDoor-Package is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge
  42.    to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your friends,
  43.    but please do not give it away altered or as part of another system.
  44.    The essence of "user-supported" software is to provide personal
  45.    computer users with quality software without high prices, and yet to
  46.    provide incentive for programmers to continue to develop new products.

  48.  - If you find this program useful and find that you are using and
  49.    continue the use of the FileDoor-package after a 30 days trial period,
  50.    you must register the FileDoor-package as described below;

  52.  - Send a postcard to Robert W. van Hoeven, with your address,
  53.    net/node number and 'FileDoor v2.01 registration' on it. The
  54.    exact address is in the header of this documentation;

  56.  - Anyone distributing the FileDoor-Package for any kind of remuneration
  57.    must first contact the Author at the address above for authorization;

  59.  - You are encouraged to pass a copy of the FileDoor-package along to your
  60.    friends for evaluation.  Please encourage them to register their
  61.    copy if they find that they can use it;

  63.  - Support on FileDoor is available by means of written letters or by
  64.    entering the international echomail area DISP (available on the
  65.    Echomail backbones of FidoNet <tm> in every zone);

  67.  - Problems and suggestions can be entered in the FidoNet <tm> Echomail
  68.    conference <tm> called DISP (international). Entering this echo does
  69.    not exclude you of the duty to register the FileDoor-package, though users
  70.    who evaluate the product can enter the echo for questions;

  72.  - The FileDoor-package, all programs excluding the documentation,
  73.    are now copyrighted 1991 by Robert W. van Hoeven, PO. Box 131,
  74.    Badhoevedorp 1170AC, Holland. The original idea and realisation
  75.    is copyrighted 1988-90 by Stig Jacobsen, DAK Software.
  76.    The documentation is copyrighted 1991 by Reinier E.B. de Groot.

  87.    the medium at places that carry the software is seen as a program

  91.    lines, is a theft and no fair play to the author and, more important,
  92.    to the registered users;

  94.  - Bulletin Board Systems that distribute the FileDoor package can convert
  95.    the WHOLE package to any archive-system they like but all original
  96.    files must be included in the new archive. The FileDoor-package on the
  97.    Bulletin Board can contain at the most 2 extra files. These files
  98.    can only be a commercial for that Bulletin Board and/or validation
  99.    data that is presented as a service to all users and shall have no
  100.    other functions;

  102.  - After the normal trial period of 30 days, you must register the soft-
  103.    ware (see REGISTER.XFD) or you must remove it from your PC;

  105.  - Comments, suggestions and bug reports are welcome and will be answered
  106.    as soon I have the time to do so. You can send me a letter of leave a
  107.    NetMail <tm> message named to Rob Van.hoeven (mind the point) on node

  119.  FileDoor is cardware. This is an agreement between Stig Jacobsen and
  120.  myself. This means that you can use FileDoor for free if you send me
  121.  a normal (no netmail/echomail) postcard or letter.
  122.  
  123.  If you like the product very much, and feel you want to pay something
  124.  for it, you can always send a donation to the above address. This will
  125.  be used to buy upgrades for compilers, utilities and will have a posi-
  126.  tive effect on the technical standard of FileDoor.

  128.  If you dislike the idea of a donation to me but still feel you want
  129.  to do something, you can send your donation to a charitative organi-
  130.  sation. This means that you still must send me a postcard to let me
  131.  know that you are using FileDoor.

  133.  Already registered users don't have to send a card but I would like
  134.  it when you do. Part of the deal was that Stig kept his cards and
  135.  I have to build a new collection.

  137.  Other DISP-products like MTS, MTA, QFV and such each have different
  138.  rules for registration and don't have to be cardware.
